Seven Children Hospitalized After Boone County School Bus Crash
Seven children sustained minor injuries following a school bus accident in Boone County on the morning of October 2.
According to the Boone County Sheriff's Office, the bus was traveling south on Hicks Pike Road near New Haven School when it overcorrected, coming to rest on a sloped embankment just below the roadway.
The abrupt stop led to the hospitalization of the injured children, as confirmed by spokesperson Philip Ridgell. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
After the incident, parents were reunited with their children at Gray Middle School, Ridgell reported. The bus carried students from both private and public schools, though details regarding their specific institutions have not been clarified.
