Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Northwest Denver

DENVER – Police are seeking assistance in identifying the driver involved in a crash that claimed the life of a bicyclist in northwest Denver on September 26.

According to the Denver Police Department (DPD), the incident occurred at approximately 10:10 p.m. at North Federal Blvd and West 26th Avenue. The driver struck the cyclist and fled the scene heading northbound.

Authorities reported that the driver did not stop to render aid or contact law enforcement following the collision. Details regarding the vehicle involved, as well as the identity of the bicyclist, have not yet been released.

In an earlier communication, DPD mistakenly indicated the victim was a pedestrian. The investigation remains ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
