Arizona Woman Injured in Audrain County Crash
A woman from Apache Junction, Arizona, sustained serious injuries in a crash Saturday night in Audrain County.
The incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. on Route J, east of West Lick Creek. According to authorities, the 36-year-old woman was driving a 2003 Toyota Tundra eastbound when the vehicle left the right side of the road. After overcorrecting, the SUV went off the left side, flipped over, and landed on the driver's side.
Emergency crews transported the woman to University Hospital for treatment of her injuries. There were no reports of additional vehicles involved in the crash. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
