OSAGE COUNTY, MO — A tractor-trailer accident occurred Tuesday afternoon on Highway 133, injuring the driver.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia was traveling south on Highway 133, north of Petes Drive, when it veered off the right side of the roadway, struck a utility pole, and overturned.
Emergency responders from the Osage County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene. Authorities advised motorists to avoid the area as they assessed the crash site.
The 30-year-old male driver from Thurmont, Maryland, sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital. MSHP confirmed that the driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
