A collision on Interstate 10 near mile marker 152 claimed two lives and injured five others on October 5.

According to authorities, the crash occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. involving three vehicles: a sedan, an , and a pickup truck. Both fatalities are confirmed to be occupants of the sedan.

Emergency response included the Arizona Department of Public Safety and local fire departments, who transported the injured to nearby medical facilities. Authorities reported that two of the injured are in critical condition.

Westbound lanes of I-10 were closed for approximately three hours during the investigation and cleanup, leading to significant traffic delays. Towing services were on-site to remove the damaged vehicles.

The cause of the collision is under investigation, and authorities have not released identities pending notification of next of kin.
