COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 79-year-old man died after a parking-lot crash on the city's South Side Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
According to the Accident Investigation Unit, a 2023 Can-Am Ryder was traveling west through a parking lot behind S. High St. when a southbound 2012 Cadillac SRX struck its right side.
Authorities said the rider was ejected, then transported by Hamilton Township Medic 173 to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in stable condition.
During a follow-up at Grant Hospital, the rider was pronounced dead. He was identified as 79-year-old Kenneth James, authorities said.
