CINCINNATI (WKRC) — A woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly driving under the influence with two young children and crashing into a utility pole on the city’s west side.
Tiara Person, 31, was arraigned on June 17 in Hamilton County Municipal Court on charges including child endangerment and operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI).
According to authorities, the crash occurred near Cheviot Road. Person is accused of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the time of the incident, which resulted in the deployment of airbags and substantial damage to her vehicle.
Officials confirmed that two children, both under 5 years old, were present in the vehicle during the crash. Person’s alleged actions posed a significant risk to their safety.
Court records indicate that Person’s bond was set at $2,500, subject to 10% payment or an electronic monitoring unit for the child endangerment and OVI charges. She was released on her own recognizance concerning the other charges.
