MADISON (WKOW) — A crash on Interstate 39 northbound near Interstate 94 resulted in significant delays on Friday afternoon.
The Wisconsin State Patrol reported the incident occurred at 3:41 p.m., impacting all northbound lanes. Witnesses indicated backups extended more than three miles due to the collision.
Emergency response teams arrived promptly at the scene, and all lanes were cleared by 4:17 p.m. No injuries or fatalities have been confirmed. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
