Crash on I-70 Leaves One Dead, Three Injured in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, MO — A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 70 near exit 28 at approximately 2:41 p.m. on October 10, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident involved three vehicles. One driver, identified as 34-year-old Dane Cordes, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other individuals were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Emergency responders from the Kansas City Fire Department and the Highway Patrol arrived promptly to manage the situation. Officials reported the eastbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours while crews cleared the wreckage and conducted an investigation.
