A motorcycle driver died after a Kawasaki Ninja collided with a semi-trailer on Interstate 29 in Kansas City Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 2:41 p.m. near the 9th Street exit, closing two lanes of traffic in the northbound direction. Authorities reported that the impact resulted in severe injuries to the 32-year-old motorcycle operator, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency response teams from the Kansas City Fire Department and local law enforcement were dispatched, providing medical aid and managing traffic. No injuries were reported from the semi-truck driver.
