Traffic Accident Blocks Las Vegas Boulevard at Windmill Lane
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A traffic accident involving three mid-sized SUVs and a minivan blocked all lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard at Windmill Lane around 2:20 p.m., according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD).
Four individuals were transported to local hospitals following the collision. Two of the injured sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the remaining two suffered life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Fatal detectives are responding to the scene to initiate an investigation. The intersection of Windmill and Las Vegas Boulevard is closed in all directions, necessitating detours for motorists.
LVMPD advises that these lane restrictions will remain in effect until the investigation concludes. Travelers in the area should expect significant delays and plan alternative routes.
