EVERETT, Mass. —
Four individuals, including three juveniles, were arrested Monday afternoon following a traffic stop involving a stolen vehicle.
A Flock camera detected a stolen white Audi in the Lower Broadway area. Authorities confirmed that a traffic unit activated its lights as the vehicle was stuck in heavy congestion, according to Everett Police Chief Paul Strong.
The driver attempted to evade police by colliding with two to three other vehicles before stopping. One adult and three juveniles exited the car and were apprehended at the scene. Multiple firearms were discovered inside the vehicle.
Izmyr LaForest, a nearby resident, described the incident as alarming. “There was a lot of commotion—I saw the white car and the front was completely smashed in,” LaForest said. “It's concerning, the safety around here.”
Lower Broadway was closed temporarily as police gathered evidence. This incident occurred near Encore Casino, associated with a past police pursuit involving a stolen garbage truck.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
