Mississippi Man Dies in Wilcox County Crash
WILCOX COUNTY, AL—A single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a Mississippi man on September 3, 2025, at approximately 2:10 p.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), JoColby M. Holder, 36, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, was driving a 2022 Peterbilt tractor-trailer on Alabama 21 when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned. The incident occurred about 15 miles east of Camden.
Authorities reported that Holder was pronounced dead at the scene. Currently, ALEA is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, but a cause has not yet been established.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene; however, no additional injuries have been reported.
