Fire Suppression System Discharges at Loudon Gas Station
LOUDON, NH — A fire suppression system at a local gas station accidentally discharged Wednesday afternoon, causing a significant cloud of extinguishing agent to spread over nearby areas.
According to the Loudon Fire Department, the incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. when a service technician activated the system during routine maintenance. Witnesses reported a large cloud that obstructed visibility on Route 106.
There were no reported injuries, and the fire department quickly assessed the situation. Emergency responders from the Loudon Fire Department and the local police were on the scene to manage the incident.
