LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Three individuals were transported to a hospital following a two-vehicle rollover crash on a southeast Las Vegas freeway Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:53 p.m. on southbound Interstate 11/U.S. 95, just north of Russell Road, according to Trooper Shawn Haggstrom with the Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol.
Authorities reported that a Mercedes Benz SUV and a Kia sedan collided, resulting in the Mercedes overturning onto its roof. The driver of the Mercedes, along with two occupants from the Kia, sustained injuries and were taken to a local medical facility.
Investigators have closed the center and right-hand lanes on southbound I-11 due to the crash, restricting traffic to one lane and causing delays extending toward the Boulder Highway exit.
Motorists are advised to expect congestion and consider using Boulder Highway as an alternate route until the incident is cleared.
No further details have been released at this time.
