LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A head-on collision involving two semi-tractors on Interstate 15 has caused significant traffic delays this morning.
The crash occurred near mile marker 107 at 2:11 a.m., according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. A semi-tractor reportedly crossed the center median, colliding with another semi head-on.
One driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. As of 10:30 a.m., traffic remains heavily impacted in the southbound lanes.
Authorities expect the roadway to be closed for the next five to six hours while the investigation continues.
