LAYTON, Utah (KUTV) — One person was killed, and three others were seriously injured in a crash near 2000 East Oak Hills Lane on Friday afternoon.
The collision occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. involving two vehicles. Emergency responders from the Layton Fire Department transported three individuals to an area hospital due to serious injuries.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their identity, pending family notification.
The Layton Police Department Traffic Division is conducting an investigation into the crash. As of 5:30 p.m., Oak Hills Lane remained closed between 1800 East and 2250 East, with police estimating the road will remain closed for several hours.
