FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A 23-year-old man died following a collision with a vehicle on May 22, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The crash occurred around 4:51 p.m. at the intersection of S. Timberline Road and E. Lincoln Avenue. Authorities reported the e-bike rider was traveling east on E. Lincoln Avenue when he failed to stop at a posted sign and was struck by a northbound SUV.
The rider was ejected from his bike and transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries three days later. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The 69-year-old female driver of the SUV remained at the scene. No charges have been filed at this time, and the identity of the deceased rider has not been disclosed.
