Fatal Crash Closes Highway 119 Near Nederland
NEEDLEMAN, CO – A fatal multi-vehicle collision closed Highway 119 on Wednesday night, according to Colorado State Patrol (CSP) officials.
The crash, involving three vehicles, occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported to the hospital.
Highway 119 was closed in both directions from County Road 54A to Fourmile Canyon Drive, as reported by the Colorado Department of Transportation. The roadway has since reopened.
Initial details indicate that a pickup truck, SUV, and minivan were involved in the incident near milepost 34.
Authorities have not provided updates regarding the condition of the hospitalized individual or released the identity of the deceased.
The CSP is continuing its investigation into the cause of the crash.
