A Columbia man faces multiple charges following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 on April 3, 2026.
The incident occurred at the 122.8 mile marker, involving a Volkswagen Jetta, a RAM 3500 pickup truck, and a GMC Acadia, all sustaining significant damage.
Authorities reported that a passenger in the RAM was trapped and sustained serious injuries, while individuals in the Volkswagen and GMC also suffered serious injuries. Three additional occupants in the GMC were reported injured.
According to court documents, the driver of the RAM, Samuel Creasy, admitted fault to responding troopers.
The documents also indicate that a Preliminary Breath Test showed Creasy's blood alcohol content was .122%.
Prosecutors have charged Creasy with seven counts of DWI – Physical Injury and one misdemeanor count of Operating a Motor Vehicle in a Careless and Imprudent Manner.
An initial court appearance is set for May 26, 2026.
