TAMWORTH, N.H. — Two motorcyclists were injured in a collision with a police cruiser on Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Page Hill Road.
According to officials, a 51-year-old patrolman from the Tamworth Police Department made a U-turn in his cruiser, striking a motorcycle operated by a 28-year-old man from Laconia. A second motorcyclist, a 28-year-old from Ashland, subsequently lost control and veered off the road.
Emergency responders transported both injured motorcyclists to a local hospital for treatment. The patrolman was reported unharmed. No charges have been filed, and the incident remains under investigation.
