Sedalia Man Injured After Bicycle Overturns in Pettis County Saturday Afternoon.

SEDALIA, MO — An 18-year-old motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries in a crash Saturday afternoon in Pettis County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

The incident occurred around 12:31 p.m. on State Route TT near Lamm Road. Authorities reported that the rider was heading northbound on a 2012 Kawasaki when the vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned.

The motorcyclist was wearing a safety device at the time. He was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District personnel to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for treatment of his injuries.

The was totaled and removed from the scene by a private towing company. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
