Motorcyclist from Greenwood dies in Raymond crash.

Raymond, ME – A Greenwood man was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Route 85 Monday evening.

Seth Hodgkins, 20, was riding his northbound on Webb's Mills Road when he collided with a southbound 2012 RAV4 driven by 23-year-old Seth Thayer of Raymond. The incident occurred around 7:27 p.m. as Thayer was making a turn onto Tarkiln Hill Road, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

Witnesses reported that Hodgkins was thrown from his and subsequently struck by a southbound 2015 Terrain driven by 55-year-old Christopher Akers of Casco.

Hodgkins, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that the crash is still under investigation. No additional injuries were reported, and there were no lane closures related to the incident.
