Motorcycle crash in Fitchburg claims life of local VP.

FITCHBURG, Wis. — A citation has been issued to the driver of an involved in a fatal motorcycle crash on Aug. 7, according to the Fitchburg Police Department.

The collision occurred around 5:20 p.m. on the 2600 block of South Seminole Highway, when a northbound motorcycle struck the SUV. The motorcyclist, identified as 54-year-old Troy Lepien from Verona, was transported to a local hospital, where he was later . Lepien served as the Vice President of Business Integrity for UW Health.

Authorities confirmed that the SUV driver received a citation linked to the incident. An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
