DANVERS, Mass. — A local state trooper was killed in a wrong-way, head-on crash on October 5 at approximately 2:41 p.m.
The incident occurred on Route 128 northbound near Exit 29, involving two vehicles: a sedan and an SUV. Authorities confirmed that the state trooper, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene. One other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
