SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested April 26 after a parking-lot collision near Marbach Road and Marbach Oaks injured a passenger.
According to an arrest affidavit, Carlos Rodriguez Jr. is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the incident on Marbach Road.
The affidavit states Rodriguez followed a woman he previously dated, demanded she exit her vehicle, then returned to his vehicle and struck hers.
The driver reported pain in her neck, back, stomach, and chest, authorities said.
A female passenger was taken to a local hospital and treated for a bump on the head and bruising to her hand and knee.
The affidavit states an active protective order was in effect and alleges Rodriguez was in violation at the time.
