LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A dozen new lawsuits have been filed six months after a deadly UPS plane crash in Louisville.
The lawsuit from the family of Lou Fedon and his 3-year-old granddaughter, Kimberly Asa, cites multiple companies' failures that led to their deaths at Grade A Recycling. The family seeks damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, among other claims.
Other lawsuits have been filed by business owners and employees impacted by the crash, alleging damage or closure of their establishments due to the incident.
According to a statement from UPS, the company is “supporting those affected and working closely with the NTSB” on the ongoing investigation.
