LONDONDERRY, NH — A twin-engine cargo plane crashed in a Londonderry neighborhood shortly after takeoff from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport on January 15, 2024.

Authorities reported that the incident occurred around 9:20 a.m. near Oak and Maple Streets. The plane, identified as a Cessna 402, was en route to a delivery destination when it went down, resulting in significant damage to several residences.

Emergency responders from the Londonderry Fire Department and local police arrived at the scene within minutes. According to officials, two crew members aboard the aircraft sustained serious injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. There were no reported fatalities.

Witnesses described hearing a loud noise before the crash and reported seeing smoke rising from the area. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have initiated an investigation into the incident.
