LEWES, DE – A 27-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early April 26 on Wil King Road, according to Delaware State Police.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight when the man, driving a Dodge Ram, left the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned, and collided with a tree. Authorities confirmed he was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Emergency responders transported him to an area hospital where he later died. His identity has not been released pending notification of his family.
Delaware State Police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police or Delaware Crime Stoppers.
