LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A driver was arrested for DUI following a crash on Russell Cave Road early Thursday morning.
At approximately 2:02 a.m., a vehicle traveling outbound on Russell Cave Road near Faulkner Avenue struck a tree and subsequently caught fire. According to authorities, a second vehicle sustained minor damage while attempting to avoid the initial collision.
Emergency crews responded to extinguish the fire and clear the scene, leading to temporary lane closures. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
