LONDONDERRY, NH — A motorcyclist from Haverhill, Massachusetts, is in critical condition following a crash on Interstate 93 on Wednesday night.
State Police responded at 7:43 p.m. to the southbound lanes near Exit 4. A 61-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle and veered into the median, causing the bike to roll and ejecting him.
The operator was transported by helicopter to a Massachusetts hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Northbound lanes of the highway were closed for approximately 35 minutes while responders managed the scene. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, according to officials.
