Reeder, N.D. – 15 people were injured in a car crash that occurred on Thursday afternoon in Reeder.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:20 p.m. on Highway 22 at Highway 12.
A 41-year-old man driving a semi-truck northbound on Highway 22 tried to stop at the intersection but slid, causing the big rig to jackknife.
An Express Van with 11 people and a GMC Yukon with four people were traveling east when they were unable to stop and crashed into the big rig.
The van driver and five and five minors were seriously injured in the crash and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Yukon and eight minors were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
