Camden County, MO. – A Sunrise Beach man was killed in a head-on collision that left three other people injured on Monday afternoon in Camden County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Route F near Rockdale Drive at around 4 p.m.
A 37-year-old man from Sunrise Beach was driving a 2014 Dodge Journey northbound when he crossed the center line after exiting a curve and collided head-on with a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country, driven by a 50-year-old woman from Sunrise Beach.
The driver of the Dodge Journey died at the accident scene.
The driver of the Chrysler and his two passengers, a 12-year-old girl with serious injuries and a 14-year-old girl, were hospitalized with moderate to minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
