A three-car crash on Route 896 near Glasgow on April 1 resulted in the death of a 45-year-old Newark man and serious injuries to another driver.
According to the Delaware State Police, Anthony Curry was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound on Route 896 at approximately 6:45 p.m. when he crossed the center median and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado driven south by a 42-year-old Newark man.
A third vehicle, a Subaru Ascent, was also involved in the incident. The driver of the Subaru, a 42-year-old man from Middletown, sustained no injuries.
Emergency responders transported both Newark men to the hospital, where Curry succumbed to his injuries. The condition of the other driver is currently unverified as of April 6.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
