EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WJAR) — Fire officials rescued a driver trapped in a vehicle following a rollover crash on Shippeetown Road on Monday.
Authorities said the driver struck a tree, causing the vehicle to roll over. Fire crews used extrication equipment to free the individual from the wreckage.
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Kent Hospital for further evaluation.
