MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A single-vehicle crash in the 1300 block of US-50 at 7:30 p.m. April 4 killed a passenger and injured the driver.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers found a 2013 GMC Yukon that struck a utility pole and a tree.
Authorities said the driver, 47, of Hamersville, was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries.
Passenger Kristin L. Houser, 40, of Blanchester, was pronounced dead at the scene by Miami Township EMS.
The Yukon had been traveling east on US-50 when it went off the left side of the roadway, according to the patrol.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Batavia Post.
