Serious Four-Vehicle Crash on I-35E Near Eagan
EAGAN, MN — A four-vehicle crash on Interstate 35E left one driver seriously injured Friday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The incident occurred shortly before 4:41 p.m. as four vehicles were traveling northbound near Eagan. An International MV607 truck struck a Ford Escape, pushing it onto the right shoulder. The collision triggered a chain reaction, with the International then impacting a Chevrolet C10, which subsequently collided with a Ford F-150.
The driver of the Ford Escape, a 54-year-old woman from South St. Paul, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Regions Hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet C10, a 50-year-old man from Roberts, Wisconsin, also suffered injuries, but they are not life-threatening.
No additional injuries were reported. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the accident, and emergency responders managed the scene. Lane closures were in effect, but details on tows have not yet been released.
