WOODBURY, MN — A vehicle crash Saturday morning caused significant damage to three townhome units and triggered a gas leak.

The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Kingfisher Lane and Woodduck Drive, according to Woodbury Police. A small struck the townhomes, coming to a stop within one unit.

The collision severed a gas line, prompting evacuations of nearby residents. Emergency responders were deployed to the scene, and the gas was subsequently shut off.

The driver of the sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital; their current condition remains undisclosed. It is unclear whether any criminal charges will be filed against the driver.

Residents of the affected townhouses were not allowed to return until the gas was secured, though the majority of nearby residents were permitted to go home. No additional injuries were reported.
