Actor Injured in Fiery Crash at New Hampshire Toll Plaza
BEDFORD, NH — Actor Yevgeny Mirman, 51, sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash at the Bedford Toll Plaza on the Everett Turnpike just before noon on Tuesday.
According to New Hampshire State Police, Mirman was driving a 2026 Lucid Gravity when the vehicle struck the toll booth and caught fire. Emergency responders received multiple 911 calls reporting an individual trapped inside.
Witnesses reported that a state trooper assigned to Governor Kelly Ayotte's security detail assisted in rescuing Mirman from the burning vehicle. Governor Ayotte, who also rendered aid using a fire extinguisher, was not in any immediate danger. “The detail got out and assisted,” said Bedford Town Council Chair Phil Greazzo.
Mirman was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His publicist confirmed he is recovering. “Eugene was in a very scary car accident… He is grateful to be on the mend,” Sheila Kenny stated.
The crash caused significant traffic delays on the highway. No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact Trooper Nathan Belanger at Nathan.R.Belanger@dos.nh.gov.
