OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — One person is dead following a vehicle-bicycle accident on Friday morning near Newcastle Rd. and MacArthur Blvd.
Oklahoma City Police Department officers responded to the scene at approximately 8:15 a.m. Upon arrival, they confirmed the bicyclist succumbed to their injuries. The victim has not yet been publicly identified.
According to authorities, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area as lane closures are in effect while the investigation continues.
