PEARL CITY, HI — A 27-year-old man was hospitalized following an e-bike crash early this morning, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:20 a.m. on Komo Mai Drive near Lanikeha Place. Authorities said the man lost control of his e-bike and crashed onto the roadway.
Emergency Medical Services reported that the individual sustained a possible head injury and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Paramedics transported him to a local emergency room in serious condition.
