Eugene Mirman Hospitalized Following Fiery Car Crash in New Hampshire
BEDFORD, NH – March 31, 2026 – Actor Eugene Mirman was hospitalized after being rescued from a burning vehicle on the Everett Turnpike at approximately 11:55 a.m.
According to authorities, a veteran State Trooper on Governor Kelly Ayotte's security detail encountered the crash. The trooper observed the vehicle engulfed in flames with the driver still inside. The driver, later identified as Mirman, was extracted through a window and brought to safety.
Mirman, 51, best known for voicing Gene Belcher in “Bob's Burgers,” is currently recovering from his injuries. In a statement, a representative for Mirman expressed gratitude towards bystanders and first responders for their swift action. The family has requested privacy during his recovery.
The crash is under investigation; no charges have been filed. Emergency medical services transported Mirman to a local hospital for treatment.
