COVENTRY, R.I. (WJAR) — Coventry police are seeking public assistance to identify a driver involved in a crash on Wednesday.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Arnold Road near New London Turnpike, resulting in confirmed injuries, authorities said.

The vehicle involved is described as a blue or gray Kia Sportage with out-of-state plates, exhibiting extensive front-end damage and airbag deployment, according to police.

Witnesses reported the vehicle was last seen on Gay Street and in the Centre of New England area.
