Tiger Woods Involved in Vehicle Crash, Seeks Treatment
MARTIN COUNTY, FL — Shortly after 3 p.m. on Friday, Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover crash near his home, sparking an investigation.
According to authorities, Woods' Land Rover struck a trailer after crossing double solid lines, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side. Woods was unharmed but exhibited symptoms indicative of impairment, including sweating and dilated pupils. He was arrested but later released.
Woods, 50, was found with two hydrocodone pills in his pocket. He faces two misdemeanor charges: driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a lawful test. Woods pleaded not guilty; his next court appearance is May 5.
State records show Woods' driver's license has been suspended following his failed field sobriety tests. Despite this, a breath test indicated no alcohol in his system; Woods declined a urine test.
