Two women were hospitalized following a car crash in Miller County on Wednesday, October 4.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 12:10 p.m. on U.S. 54, at Route AA.
According to the crash report, a 2025 Nissan Rogue veered off the right side of the roadway, striking an embankment.
The vehicle became airborne, rolled over several times, and settled on its roof.
The driver, a 28-year-old woman from Jefferson City, and her passenger, a 36-year-old woman from St. Louis, both sustained serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Authorities confirmed that both individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Emergency response included MSHP and local medical services. The roadway was temporarily closed during the investigation and cleanup efforts.
