GRETNA, La. — A 14-year-old girl was killed in a crash in Gretna Saturday morning.
According to the Gretna Police Department, the incident occurred around 11 a.m. near Hero Drive. A BMW veered off the road, striking a tree and a parked truck.
The driver, a 25-year-old woman, was transported to a hospital where she is reported to be in stable condition. The 14-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
