TUSCOLA — State police responded to a semi crash on Interstate 57 north of Tuscola at approximately 8 p.m. Monday.
The incident occurred at milepost 215, about four miles north of Tuscola, involving a truck tractor semi trailer that came to rest in the center median.
Work crews are currently removing the vehicle from the median. During the removal process, the passing lane on northbound I-57 was temporarily closed, while the driving lane remained open. Both lanes were cleared and reopened to traffic by 9:42 p.m.
Authorities urge motorists to exercise caution while passing through the area.
