NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — On October 20 at 1:50 p.m. CST, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. Highway 83, approximately 11 miles north of Wellfleet.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) reported that the accident impacted both directions of U.S. 83 between East Echo School Road and East Lone Star Road. Authorities advised motorists to exercise caution in the area.
NDOT traffic cameras monitored U.S. 83 at milepost 67, capturing conditions for northbound and southbound traffic. Emergency services were dispatched, and medical aid was provided; however, no confirmed details regarding injuries or fatalities have been released.
