MAYES COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — A Vinita man died in a crash in Mayes County on November 3.
Around 2:30 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers responded to the incident on Highway 28 near County Road N 432.
According to authorities, a commercial vehicle traveling east on Highway 28 crossed the centerline into westbound traffic, colliding first with a trailer and then crashing head-on into another vehicle.
Troopers confirmed that Justin Tune, 47, the driver of the commercial vehicle, was killed in the crash.
Emergency responders were on scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
