Authorities said the incident occurred around 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 44 and South Eagle Road, involving four vehicles. Four individuals were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Both eastbound lanes of Highway 44 are closed between Urban Gate and Eagle Road. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
